Personally identifiable information you provide ReturnMyPet when you sign up will not be sold or given to outside sources without your permission. ReturnMyPet uses the information we collect in order to provide you with personalized services, such as the Selling and Buying Center, Saved Searches, member ratings/reviews, and account information.
Sign-up Information
In order to post, buy, or make an offer for item(s) and service(s) on ReturnMyPet, you must become a ReturnMyPet member. The member registration process requires that you provide your full name, street address, email address, and other identifying information. If you were referred to ReturnMyPet from another web site, that web site may send us information that you provided to them. The information they provide is considered private, as if you provided it directly to us.
Credit Cards
You will be able to enter a credit card to for billing convenience through our credit card partner PayPal. We must confirm that your credit card number and sign-up information is valid. Members' credit cards will only be charged in accordance with our Ad Pricing Policy. Entering your credit card information on ReturnMyPet is safe; we use industry-standard SSL-encryption to protect sensitive data transmissions.
Personal/Product Descriptions & Photos
In an effort to facilitate a trusting buying and selling community, we provide you with the option to submit pictures and/or a description of your item or service. When you post your classified ad on ReturnMyPet, the ad description and pictures are displayed on the site and accessible to visitors on ReturnMyPet. We will not allow lewd, nude, or semi-nude photos, so please do not upload them. Classifieds and photos must meet the Classified Ad Guidelines.
Public Access to Information
The information that you provide when you post a classified ad is posted in public areas and available to all visitors. Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information, so please exercise caution.
Security
This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. All member data and activity is stored separately and is not directly accessible through a web browser. Unfortunately, when you submit information about yourself/product to ReturnMyPet over the Internet, the information may travel over many systems that are not under the control of ReturnMyPet. The Internet is not 100% secure and others might intercept the information that you are sending. Remember that your account is accessible only through the use of your Password.
While we take all necessary steps to protect the personal information you provide to us, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us. You do so at your own risk, and you are ultimately responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your user name, passwords and/or any account information. You should not assume that any Internet data transaction would be 100% secure.
We do not share your personal information with outside parties. We may disclose your personal information if required by law in response to any legal process, such as a court order or subpoena.
What about third-party sites?
We cannot ensure the protection of any personal information that you provide to a third-party site that links to or from ReturnMyPet. The third-party sites are owned and operated independently. What about children’s information?
We understand that protecting the privacy of the children is very important. ReturnMyPet does not intend to collect any personal information from anyone under 18 years of age. If you are under the age of 18, you may only use this site along with and under the supervision.
